Ernakulam Loksabha Elections 2009

The new ernakulam parliament assembly constituency is created by adding parts of old Mukundapuram parliament constituency to Ernakulam. Seven legislative assembly constituency are part of Ernakulam constituency . Aluva is now detached from Ernakulam. Puthanvelikkara, Vadakkekara, Chittattukara panchayaths are included into new Ernakulam lok sabha constituency. The new Kalamassery assembly segments , Ernakulam, Thirkkakara, Thrippunithura, Vypin, Paravoor, Kochi assembly segments are constituting Ernakulam parliament constituency.
